2. சோம்பல் – வேகமாகச் செயல்படாமல் தரம் தாழ்ந்த முயற்சிகளிலேயே திருப்தியடைதல்.
3. நோக்கமின்மை – வெந்ததைத் தின்று வெறுமனே வாழ்ந்து விதி வந்தால் சாவோம் என நினைக்கிற உலக மக்களைப்போல நோக்கமின்றி வாழ்தல்.
4.  உலகத்தாக்கம் – சுற்றிலும் உள்ளவர்களைப் பார்த்து சுய நலத்திற்கு இடம் கொடுத்து, சோர்ந்து போய்விடல்.
5. விசுவாசக்குறைவு – என்னால் என்ன செய்ய இயலும் எனத் தன்னையும் தேவனையும் கேள்வி கேட்கும் நிலை.

இவை நம்மில் காணப்படுமானால் தேவ ஒத்தாசையுடன் மனந்திரும்புவோம்.

JESUS and EASTER

What is the meaning of Easter?

Easter is the day when we celebrate Jesus Christ rising from the dead. Jesus is the Son of God and heroically gave His life to die for our sins. On the third day after He died -- the day we now celebrate as Easter Sunday -- His friends went to His grave, and found that He had risen from the dead. They saw an angel who told them, "Don't be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn't here! He has been raised from the dead, just as He said it would happen."

Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday; now He offers to you the gift of eternal life and forgiveness of sins. This is the true story of Easter, and how it can change your life. Here are 4 principles that tell how you can receive the gift of God for your life.

1. God Loves You!

The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"

2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.”

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,

3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.”

Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."

God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

4. If you want to accept Christ as Savior and turn from your sins, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life.  I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."

THE LOVE THAT NEVER FAILS

Love can bring the rich and the poor under one umbrella. Love conquers where philosophy, politics and religion fail.

What exactly is LOVE?

Love is the most important value of life. To love and to be loved is what every person on earth longs for. Attraction between the opposite sexes is natural; not wrong. It becomes wrong when the boundaries are crossed.

The dictum of the 80's was 'choose three, love two, marry one.' That has changed today "choose three, love two, marry none." There are many who have fallen victims to the calf love and face mental depression.

When we travel down the annals of history we can see that there is one person living even today who loved everybody in spite of their shortcomings. Everybody includes the righteous, the sinner, the rich, the poor, and the downtrodden. All found love acceptance in this person. That person's only weapon was love. His sign was the cross. Yes, He is JESUS CHRIST.

You might ask 'How much does this Jesus love me?" JESUS says, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.'

Giving your life to Jesus is an act of faith that you can express through prayer.

Praying is simply talking to God. He knows you. What matters is the attitude of your heart, your honesty. We suggest you pray the following prayer:

"Lord Jesus Christ,
I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask your forgiveness and now turn from everything which I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever. Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen."

Is this prayer the desire of your heart?
If yes, then we invite you to pray it out loud (if you can),
and according to the promises of Jesus,
He will come into your life.

PREVENTIVE PRAYER FOR MISSIONARIES

Prevention is better than cure. This proverb is rarely practised in missionary work. Only when calamities or problems strike the missionaries, we mobilize prayer for their deliverance. Why don't we have some regular PREVENTIVE PRAYER for them?

Here are five basic preventive needs of missionaries :-

Prevention from Defilement

The enemyś arrows are aimed at the missionaries to weaken their testimony. Loss of personal holiness creates hollowness both in life and work. Sex is a great snare.

Prevention from Diseases

Every other missionary becomes sick due to adverse climatic conditions, poor sanitation, lack of balanced diet, and inadequate rest. The devil rejoices to see the worker inactive because of some physical weakness.

Prevention from Depressions

Separation from children and relatives, problems of children, fruitlessness in the field, unkind and inconsiderate leadership, financial stress, lack of fellowship and spiritual food, and other such problems leave the missionary depressed. Unless he enjoys a free spirit, he cannot serve joyfully.

Prevention from Divisions

Thereś hardly a mission field where thereś no relationship problem between the workers. When unity and team spirit are lost, thereś no blessing in the work. Prayer must be constantly made that the missionaries glorify God with öne mind and one mouth¨

Prevention from Dangers

Missionaries die of accidents, snake or insect bites, food-poisoning, epidemics, etc. The promises of Mark 16:18 and such passages must be daily claimed for them. During their outstation programmes, the workers´ houses are sometimes looted. Besides all these, there are threats from the enemies of the gospel.

PREPARE : To whom do you turn in the times of trouble?

In the time of ridicule from the proud and contempt from the arrogant, David was…

a) Looking to the LORD:

He was not looking into the problem and not trying to solve the problem on his own.

He looked to the LORD till God showed his mercy.

b) Pleading to the LORD:

He was not arguing with God about his contempt. But he pleaded to the Lord for God’s mercy.

c) Confiding in the LORD:

He confided in the Lord about his contempt.

In the time of trouble we should look to the Lord our God.

PRAY : O! LORD help me to look to you not only in the times of trouble but all the time. Amen.

மிஷனெரிகளுக்காக எவ்வாறு ஜெபிக்கலாம்?

பணிபொதுவாக போர் முனையில் முதல் வரிசையில் நிற்கும் வீரர்கள் மற்ற வீரர்களை விட அதிக கனைகளை எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டியிருக்கும. பின்னால் நிற்க்கும் வீரர்கள் அவர்களை உற்ச்சாக படுத்தும் விதத்தில் செயல் பட்டால் தான் வெற்றி பெறமுடியும் . எனவே தான் நமது இந்திய இராணுவம் கூட எல்லை பாதுகாப்பு படைக்கு அதிக முக்கியதும் கொடுத்து வருகிறது.

நமது தேவனின் பணியில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ள மிஷனெரிகளும் தினமும் பலதரப்பட்ட கனைகளை எதிர் கொள்ள வேண்டியிருக்கிறது. அவர்களுக்கு நம்முடைய ஜெபம் தான் ஒரு ஊக்கமான மருந்தாக அமையும். நம்மில் அனெகர் மிஷனெரி பணி குறித்து ஜெபிக்கும் போது குறிப்பாக ஜெபிப்பதில்லை. பணிதளத்தில் அவர்கள் எவ்வாறு உள்ளனர்?, அவர்கள் இருக்கும் சுழ்நிலை எப்படிபட்டது?, என்று நாம் அறிந்து ஜெபிக்கு வேண்டும. இந்த கட்டுரையில் களத்தில் முதல் வீரராக நிற்க்கும் நமது மிஷனெரிகளின் பலதரபட்ட ஜெபத் தேவைகளை கொடுத்துள்ளோம்.

1.கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றிய உண்மையைப் பேசுவதற்கு வேண்டிய தைரியத்துக்காகவும் ஞானத்துக்காகவும் ஜெபியுங்கள்.

சிலவேளைகளில், தங்களைச் சந்திப்பவர்களிடம் அவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றிப் பேசமுடியாதபடி (நாமெல்லாருக்கும் நிகழ்வதுபோல) மிஷனெரிகளை பயம் ஆட்கொண்டு தடுத்துவிடக்கூடும்.

ஜெபிக்கவும்:

வீரத்தனம் மற்றும் தைரியம்: தங்களைச் சற்றியுள்ளவர்களிடம் தங்கள் நம்பிக்கையைப்பற்றிப் பேச மிஷனெரிகள் பயப்படாமிலிருக்க ஜெபியுங்கள்

ஞானம்: தேவன் ஆயத்தப்டுத்தியிருக்கும் மக்களை மிஷனெரிகள் அணுகவும், தங்கள் பேச்சில் கவனமாயிருக்கவும் ஞானம் கிடைக்க ஜெபியுங்கள்

கனிகள்: நற்செய்தியை மக்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவும், மிஷனெரிகள் தங்கள் அயலகத்தார், நண்பர்கள் முதலியோருடைய வாழ்வில் தேவன் கிரியை செய்வதைப் பார்க்கும்படியாகவும் ஜெபியுங்கள்

2.ஆவியில் பலப்பட ஜெபியுங்கள்

சபை நிறுவப்படாத அநேக இடங்களில் மிஷனெரிகள் பணிபுரிகின்றனர். தங்கள் மதத்தில் உறுதியான நம்பிக்கை கொண்டிருந்தாலும் மூடநம்பிக்கையிலும் நூதன கருத்திலும் மூழ்கிகிடக்கும் மக்களிடையே அவர்கள் ஊழியம் செய்கின்றனர். நற்செய்தியறிவிக்கும் வாய்ப்புகளைத் தேடும் பொழுது அவர்கள் ஆவிக்குரிய போராட்டத்தில் சிக்குகிறார்கள்.

ஜெபியுங்கள்

புத்துணர்ச்சி: வேதவசனங்கள் மூலம் தேவன் பேசி, தினமும் தன்னைப்பற்றியப் புதிய கருத்தைக் கற்றுக்கொடுக்கவும், அவர்களைத் தம் ஆவியினால் புதுப்பிக்கவும் ஜெபியுங்கள். சகிப்பும் மனபலமும்: சோதனைகளைச் சகிக்கவும் பிசாசின் தாக்குதலுக்கு எதிர்த்துநிற்கவும் தேவபலம் கிடைக்க ஜெபியுங்கள் எதிர்ப்பு பெருகிவருவதைக் கண்டாலும் அவர்கள் நிலைத்துநின்று தங்கள் பணியில் தொடருவதற்கு வேண்டிய மனவுறுதிக்காக ஜெபியுங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சி: சிருஷ்டிப்பிலும் தங்கள் ஒவ்வொரு நாள் நடவடிக்கைகளிலும் தேவகிரியைக் கண்டு ஆவியானவர் அருளும் மகிழச்சியினால் அவர்கள் நிரப்பப்பட ஜெபியுங்கள்.

3.சக ஊழியர்களோடு கொணடுள்ள உறவுக்காக ஜெபியுங்கள்

ஊழியத்தில் குழுக்களே மையமாகும். கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக தங்கள் பகுதிகளில் ஒருங்கிணைந்து தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தும்படி, குழுக்களில் பணிபுரிய ஊழியர்களை அனுப்புவது அருட்பணித்தலைவர்களின் பொறுப்பாகும். தீர்மானங்கள் எடுப்பதற்கும் ஆலோசனை வழங்குவதற்கும் குழுத்தலைவர்களுக்கு ஞானம் தேவை.

ஜெபியுங்கள்

அருட்பணித்தலைவர்களுக்காக: குழுக்களுக்காக: ஒருவருக்கொருவர் ஊழியம் செய்துகொண்டு ஒருமைப்பாட்டுடனும் அன்புடனும் இருக்க ஜெபியுங்கள். குழுத்தலைவர்களுக்காக: சீரியமுறையில் குழுஉறுப்பினர்களுடன் தகவல்தொடர்பு வைத்துக்கொள்ளவும், தீர்மானங்களை எடுப்பதிலும் பொறுப்புகளை நிறைவேற்றுவதிலும் தேவஞானம் கிடைக்கவும் ஜெபியுங்கள் அலுவலகங்கள் இங்குள்ள குழுக்கள் கர்த்தரில் பலப்படுத்தப்படவும், ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உற்சாகப்படுத்தவும் ஜெபியுங்கள்.

4.மனதிலும் உடலிலும் பலப்பட ஜெபியுங்கள்:

தனிமையும், மாறுபட்ட கலாச்சாரமும் மனவெழுச்சி அழுத்தத்தை உண்டாக்குகின்றன. மதம், கலாச்சாரம், சமூகம் மற்றும் அரசியல் வாழ்வை ஒருங்கிணைத்து வைத்திருக்கும் போது,சமூக அழுத்தம் அதிகமதிகமாகத் தோன்றலாம். உடல் நலத்துக்காகவும் உடல்பாதுகாப்புக்காகவும் ஜெபிக்க வேணடும்

ஜெபியுங்கள்

உடல்நலமும், பாதுகாப்பும்: தனிமையான சூழ்நிலையிலுள்ள மிஷனெரிகள் உடல்பலத்துடனும், நலத்துடனும், பாதுகாப்புடனும் இருக்கும்படியும், உபத்திரவம் வரும்போது அவர்களுக்குத தேவையான உதவி கிடைக்கும்படியும் ஜெபியுங்கள்

சமுதாய தேவைகள்: சமுதாய நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் தகுந்த ஞானத்தோடு அழைப்பை ஏற்று பங்கு கொள்ளவும், தக்க வேளையில் சரியான நிலை எடுக்கவும் ஜெபியுங்கள்

ஆபத்துகள்: ஆபத்து நிறைந்த சூழ்நிலைகளில் மிஷனெரிகள் தேவசமாதானத்தையும், வல்லமையையும் ஞானத்தையும் பெற்றுக் கொள்ள ஜெபியுங்கள்

5. குடும்ப உறவுகளுக்காக ஜெபியுங்கள்

மிஷனெரிகள் தங்கள் குடும்பங்களுக்குள் நல்ல உறவைக் கட்டிக்காக்க வேண்டுவது அவர்கள் சாட்சி பகர்வதற்கு முக்கியமாகும். தனிமையோடு போராடும் தனி மிஷனெரிகளுக்காகவும்,தங்கள் குடுப்பங்களைப் பற்றிய நினைவுகளால் துன்புறுபவர்களுக்காகவும் ஜெபியுங்கள். தனிநபராக இருப்பதை அடிக்கடி சந்தேகிக்கும் ஒரு கலாச்சாரத்தில் இவர்களுடைய முன்மாதிரியும் வாழ்க்கைமுறையும் ஒரு தீவரசாட்சியாக விளங்க ஜெபியுங்கள்

7. கிறிஸ்துவின் ஊழியர்களுக்கு பாடுகள் சபையிலிருந்து வருமா? இக்கால சூழ் நிலையில் இது எப்படி பொருந்தும்?

8. “எழுத வேண்டிய காரியங்கள் அநேகம். எழுத எனக்கு மனமில்லை” ஏன் இப்படிக் கூறுகிறார்?

கடைப்பிடித்தல் (APPLICATION)

1. என்னுடைய நடை, என்னுடைய உண்மை(வாழ்க்கை, வார்த்தை) இவற்றைக் குறித்து பிதா சந்தோஷம் படும் படியாக சாட்சி இருக்க வேண்டும்.

2. என்னுடைய பணி, பாகுபாடற்றதாய் இருக்க வேண்டும்.

3. முதன்மையாய் இருக்க விரும்புவதை விட முதல் தரமான சாட்சியாய் இருக்க விரும்புகிறேன்.

எபேசியர் – 2 : 1 – 10 (ஒரு வேத ஆய்வு) (Ephesians : 2 : 1-10)

மனிதனின் சுபாவ நிலையைப் பற்றி இப்பகுதி என்னக் கூறுகிறது?

     பாவங்களினாலும்,அக்கிரமங்களினாலும் 
     மரித்தநிலை,

     சாத்தானுக்கு அடிமை,
     தேவ கோபாக்கினையின் பிள்ளைகள் (வ : 1 – 3)

இந்த நிலை மாறுவதற்கு கடவுள் (இறைவன்) என்ன செய்தார்? ஏன்?

     நம்மீது இரக்கம் வைத்தார், 
     கிறிஸ்துவுடனேகூட நம்மை உயிர்ப்பித்தார்,
     நம்மீது அன்பு செலுத்தினார். (வ : 4 – 7)

3.     நாம் எப்படி இரட்சிக்கப்பட அல்லது மீட்கப்பட முடியும்?

     நம்முடைய நற்செயலினால் அல்ல, கடவுளின்
     தயவினால், விசுவாசத்தைக்கொண்டு 
     இரட்சிக்கப்பட முடியும் (வ :8,9)

4.     கடவுள் நம்மை ஏன் இரட்சித்தார்  ?

     நாம் நற்செயல் செய்வதற்காக,

     இது கடவுளால் முன்குறிக்கப்பட்டது (வ : 10)

பாவம் :  

• இறைவனுக்கும் நமக்கும் உள்ள உறவை அழிக்கிறது.
• இறைவனிடமிருந்து நம்மை மறைந்து வாழ கட்டாயப்படுத்துகிறது.

ஒளியாகிய கிறிஸ்து,

ü  நாம் இறைவனை புரிந்து கொள்ளுவதற்கான திறமையைத் தருகிறார்.

ü  நம்மையும் நம்மைச்சுற்றியுள்ள உலகத்தையும் அறிந்து கொள்ள உதவுகிறார்.

ஒளியாகிய கிறிஸ்து இந்த உலகத்திற்கு வந்தது நம்மை அழிப்பதற்காகவோ அல்லது நியாயம் விதிப்பதற்காகவோ அல்ல, நம்மை இரட்சிப்பதற்காகவே வந்தார். ( 3: 17)

மனுக்குலத்தின் அடிப்படை குணம்:

·         இருளை நேசிப்பது

·         தீமை (பொல்லாப்பு) செய்வதில் சந்தோஷம் காண்பது

இக்குணம் மனிதன், தன் நம்பிக்கையை இறைவன் மீது வைப்பதைத் தடை பண்ணுகிறது.

ஒளியாகிய கிறிஸ்துவை பகைப்பதினால் பாவத்தின் மீது மோகம் ஏற்படுவதோடு, வாழ்க்கையின் தரம் நஷ்டபட்டு, நித்திய அழிவு ஏற்படுகிறது.

ஒளியாகிய கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு தன்னை அர்ப்பணித்தவர்களோ, ஏற்கனவே மீட்கப்பட்டதோடு, நித்திய அழிவிலிருந்து தப்பித்துக் கொண்டார்கள்.

அனுதினமும் ஒளியாகிய கிறிஸ்துவிடம் வருவதென்பது ஓர் பேராசீர்வாதம். இது கிறிஸ்துவின் மீதுள்ள நம்பிக்கையையும், நித்திய வாழ்வின் உறுதியையும் வளர்க்கிறது.

ஒளியாகிய கிறிஸ்து நம் வாழ்வின் நாயகனாகும் பொழுது, நம் வாழ்வு மலர்கிறது.

ஓ!! மெய்யான ஒளியே, என் மூலம் பிரகாசியும். அப்பொழுது நான் அனெகருக்கு ஆசீர்வாதமாய் மாறுவேன்.

சங்கீதம் 71 ஒரு பகுத்தாய்வு:

’’சங்கீதக்காரனுக்கு கடவுளின் மீதுள்ள நம்பிக்கை’ என்ற பொருளை மையமாக கொண்ட ஒரு புலம்பல் சங்கீதம் தான் சங்கீதம் 71.

இந்த சங்கீத்தை பின்வருமாறு பிரிக்காலம்.

1. கடவுளின் மீதுள்ள உறுதியான நம்பிக்கையை சங்கீதக்காரன் அறிக்கை பண்ணுதல் (வசனங்கள் 1 – 3)
2. துன்பத்திலிருந்து விடுதலை பெறுவதற்கான சங்கீதக்காரனின் கோரிக்கை (வசனங்கள் 4 – 6)
3.  துன்பத்தின் நடுவிலும், கடவுளைத்துதிப்பாடுவதற்கான சங்கீதக்காரனின் உறுதியான தீர்மானம் (வசனங்கள் 7 – 8)
4. விடுதலைக்கான சங்கீதக்காரனின் கோரிக்கைகள் (வசனங்கள் 9 – 12)
5. பகைவனை நியாயம் தீர்க்க வேண்டி சங்கீதக்காரனின் ஓலம்              (வசனம் 13)
6. கடவுளை நம்புவதற்கும், அவரை துதிப்பதற்குமுள்ள சங்கீதக்காரனின் அர்ப்பணம் (வசனங்கள் 14 – 16)
7. கடவுளின் மீதுள்ள நம்பிக்கையில் கடந்தகால அனுபவத்தை அடிப்படையாகக்கொண்டு, கோரிக்கையை புதுப்பித்தல்              (வசனங்கள் 17 – 21)
8. கடவுளை துதிப்பதற்காக சங்கீதக்காரனின் உறுதியான தீர்மானம் (வசனங்கள் 22 – 24)

சங்கீதக்காரனின் இடத்தில் வாசிக்கும் நபர் தன்னை பாவித்து வாசிக்கும் பொழுது சங்கீத்தின் புது பொருளை கடவுள் வெளிப்படுத்துவார்.

Teacher’s Prayer for Students - Ideas

• Pray that your students be interested in spiritual things. Pray that God will draw them to salvation and a growing relationship with Him. Pray that you will be an example of God's love to them.
• Pray for their home situations -- that their homes will be filled with love and encouragement, instead of hate. Pray for protection from abuse or emotional harm. Pray for supportive and loving parents to guide these children in their lives. 
• Pray for the interpersonal relationships in your classroom. May God develop life-long friendships and remove anger and quarrels from those who don't get along. 
• Pray that students will persevere, even in times of doubt and discouragement. Students may need extra help, so pray for the right mentors to come along side them and encourage them. 
• Pray against harm. Pray for God to remove thoughts of suicide or self-injury. Pray for God's protection of your classroom and school.
